STOP IT!!!!!!!

Morning,

There is a saying that goes around and it says, "If you pray then don't worry, but if you worry then don't pray." The reason for this is because, when we pray we give it over to God to handle. Once we began to worry, we take it out of God's hands to handle. I heard an amazing story yesterday. My BFF called me and said that while at church a lady who was paralyzed got up and walked to the alter. She believed the preacher when he said God was pouring out His anointing over the congregation. Because of her faith she got up and walked. To God Be The Glory!! The word says in James 2:26, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also." This only lets us know that our God is still performing miracles everyday. What He can do for one, He can do for another. His miracle and healing power did not stop on yesterday. If it worked over 2000 years ago and it is still working today, it isn't used up.

With that being said, why pick up your burdens from God after you have given them over. The Lord says to cast all of our cares (burdens) on Him because He careth for us. What is it that we can do that God can't. Obviously if we need to pray about it then we need His assistance. We need Him everyday for protection/covering anyway, so let Him have that situation as well. Our arms are to short to duke it out with God. So LET HIM HAVE IT!!!!

Have a blessed day people of God!!

Smile in the face of adversity!!

Afternoon my fellow blog readers,

Matthew 17:20 says, "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." I was thinking last night how although a person may be going thru in their life; they still smile. You would never know whats going on with them unless someone told you their situation. They can still enjoy life and to me thats beautiful. Faith is the key here. They have so much faith in God to believe He will work it out no matter how things may seem. Because of that faith God has given them the strength to get thru it and on top of that to pray for others as well.

Luke 22:32 says, "But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. " Many people don't know when we pray for others; our prayer requests are being answered. No matter what we are facing keep your head to the sky. Stand strong and know that the God we serve can do it all. Remeber our faith makes us whole.

We, being our brother keepers, have watchers. Someone can be watching how you will react when facing diversity. Lets be good Godly examples.Thats a true friend of God.

Waiting is a hard thing to do!

Morning,

When people say "patience is a virtue", that is so true. I hate waiting. I want what I want when I want it. But God has been making me wait. People tell me all the time that I need patience. I can honestly say I have gotten alot better. I use to say that my Mom and occasionally my Dad, created a monster because I use to be horrible. But when you become an adult, things change. You learn to be more dependant on God and less on you parents.

The bible says in Isaiah 40:31, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." If I can wait on God, then I can wait on other things as well. Waiting on God some times can be rough; especially when you are the type of person who wants what they want when they want it. Don't lose focus! When we ask God for things and He doesn't give it to us right then, its because we are not ready for it. But remember God has not forgotten. He may not come when you want Him but He's always on time. Maybe there is something that he wants to show us or teach us. Patience maybe? or something else. If we put problems/situations in God's hands let Him deal with it. Put it there but don't pick it back up. Wait for an answer from God.
Good things come to those who wait.

Be Blessed people of God

Hard? For who? Jesus?.... Seriously!!

Good Morning fellow blog readers,

Last night I was lying in bed trying to fall asleep, but that wasn't happening. What did happen was I heard my new topic for today that I thought I would share. Some time ago my Pastor told me to read these scriptures everyday. I just started reading them recently. When I read them I didn't understand. Its funny how God reveals things to you sometimes. My mom had given the scriptures to someone else and was trying to explain them. I listened to her but some things she had mixed up. Amazingly, the interpretation of the verses began to come from no where. It reads:

Galations 3:13-14
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

I interpret this to mean: Christ has made us free from all things, for we are no longer under the old testament, by dying on the cross for us. By Him hanging on the cross, which is the tree, he was made to be a curse. That opened the door for us Gentiles, non Jews, to receive all the promises God made to the Jews including everlasting life. Every sin, sickness, disease, or any such thing, God carried on that cross. Therefore with that being said, if you believe and are going through something speak God's words back to Him. His word cannot lie. It must me done and shall be done.

We are the blessed of Christ once we accepted Him as our Lord/Savior/King. There is nothing we can do without Him. We need Him everyday of our lives. Luke 1:37 says, For with God nothing shall be impossible. Praise God!!!

Be blessed.

Carnal Minded

Morning blog readers,

Yesterday I was asking the question, if we are dealing with our own personal issues, are we to also deal with others? I feel sometimes like; hey I got my own things to deal with so why should I be bothered with others. That is the carnal way of thinking or thinking in the flesh. Basically being selfish. Only thinking of yourself. The spiritual way of looking at it is yes I am. If we have been through a situation and can give someone advice on the situation, then we must talk to them and encourage them. We have prayed and given our problems to God to workout. We are therefore problem free to be able to help others. The title of this blog is "Our Brother's Keeper". We should assist in anyway we can.

Romans 8:6-9 says;
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

We have the spirit of God. Lets not think or be carnal minded; but think spiritually.

Be blessed!!!

Evil or Good?

Good Morning readers,

This morning I awaken thinking about problems. It was one in particular that I was concerned with. I laid in my bed and asked God, "God is this your work and not the enemy." He replied, "Yes."
(Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.) Hey, the deceiver can shine it up and make it look appealing to our eyes. We must consult God for every decision we need to make. He is the only one who knows the future and what it holds for us. At times we can be deceived. Alot of the times when we think its the enemies doing, it may not be or it may start off the enemies doing. The deceiver always tries to take God's credit. I asked God awhile ago to show me that I would be the winner and He did. The enemy meant it for evil; but God has turned it around for my good. We must remember that we are the children of God. So whatever the situation may be; we must remember who we are, who we represent, and who has our back.

Be encouraged....

Reflection

Hey my fellow blog readers,

Today I was thinking about a situation and how we can be deceived, confused, given false information by the enemy. I don't like giving him credit but this is some bad credt and who wants that. It reminds me of that free credit score commercial where they have the two tall, fit, and handsome men who are all 700's and a short, fat, I guess ugly man (because he has a hockey mask on his face) who is a 500. No one wants to be associated with him because of his bad credit score. So I'm looking at the enemy as having a score of -infinity....lol We should give him A B S O L U T E L Y no place. So if that was a punch in the head for him then so be it. God has given us power over him. We control him, its not the other way around.

Ok I just went off but it all ties in..lol Let me calm down....lol

We are of extreme importance to God for the enemy to be after us so much. Everywhere we turn he is there into something. Sometimes we don't notice that its him working but eventually it will be revealed. It was just revealed to me. So don't waver in your faith. Stand on God's word and prophesy to yourself. Part of the enemies job is to deceive. So whatever the situation may be know that our God is bigger than any problem that we may face.

Love you all be encouraged!!!

"Hi Haters"

Good afternoon my fellow bloggers.

I was listening to Pandora a few mornings ago to start my day, (Isaiah 26:3 says, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.) I thought they only played music but somehow one of Bishop T.D. Jakes sermon was on. Don't know if you agree with him, but he said something that I found interesting. He said why are people jealous of the things you have/do when you are allowed to have/do it because of God. I started thinking like thats true. Why are they hating on us because of what we have when they can do what we're doing and have the same? God blesses us with all that we have and allows us to do the things we do. So their "hating" is displaced. Shouldn't they hate on God? I mean think about it. Everything is owned by God. He gives it to us according to our wants and needs. So because we ask God for certain things and he give them to us, people hate on us. We're only the middleman right? They can go straight to the source.

I would say don't be mad at me; your anger is displaced, be mad at God. God did it!!! We all know thats not going to happen. So your "haters" need to get that jealousy out of their hearts and concentrate on God and they can be blessed just as we are!!!

He also spoke about jealous family memebers. This blew my mind, but it is so true. "Haters can come in any way, shape, or form. So be on the lookout. You will know them and how to deal with them. My husband thinks I'm tripping because I believe that everything shouldn't be told concerning your life, until it is final. Nothing is wrong with keeping things to yourself. Don't know where or whom the devil is lurking around. he is very cunning.

Keep doing you blessed of God!!!

Not Our Lives...

John 9: 1-11
I was talking to my BFF Tiana today and she gave me a bible passage to read and God began to speak.
Now that I understand I tell people; this life is not about you or your feelings but Gods.
Everything we do it should be for God or because of God. We have to stop being messy and worry about how you can help the next person in need. Not talk about them.
I mean as we look at the bible; each parable and miracle God performed; we've never read where God talked about the people he helped, but the opposite he showed them love, compassion, and he helped in anyway he could. He didn't even get all into their business. Whatever people needed he did it.
If we were to take that passage and use it for an example: John 9:1 says, " And as Jesus passed by, He saw a man which was blind from his birth". If we continue to read, it never said how he got all in the man's business or even blamed him for something that he did in the past. But it says that the situation he faced from birth was not because of anything he did.

So many of us say we love God but it is not seen in what we do.We should strive everyday to be more and more like Him. Ask yourself everyday what did I do today to show that the love of God is in my heart. Matthew 7:1 says Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Always remember, If we take care of Gods business He will take care of ours.

Peace and Love, stay blessed

Candice

Welcome!!!

Thanks for following my blog. This blog was design for me to not keep God's words spoken to me to myself. I figured if he reveals it to me than I should share it. I do not want to just help myself along the way but someone else as well. We can do this together. I mean this is the goal, right? Not only will I share information that I hear but what I feel and questions I have.

I pray that everyone reading will find this blog to be helpful. I have only one request, please comment on any post that you may find intriguing, eye-opening, and questionable. Not saying that every idea I have is correct. If you find a flaw please feel free in justifying your belief. Thanks so much for stopping by. Come back again. I would love to read yor feelings as well.

Peace, Love, and hair grease...lol

Love all!!!!
