Remembering God's Words

Morning Readers,

We all have questions concerning everyday life. We know that God holds our future; and He is the only one who can lead us to the right path. Therefore, we consult God for the answers to make the best decision. There are times when we ask God for help and we wait on the answer but never get a response. What's the explanation for this occurance? There can be many answers to this question. I have been asked this question numerous times and have asked it myself. One explanation that I gathered is "We already know the answer." The bible gives us the tools on how to deal with everyday life. All of the parables told in the bible are examples for us to follow in certain stuations. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." So sometimes when we are looking for an aswer from God, check His word. You just might find it in there. Don't fret God will not leave us ignorant.

Be Blessed!!

Are you blinging?

Afternoon Readers,

As you all know, we are to live our lives as a witness for somone else. Not saying that we can't make mistakes or we have to live perfectly. As my Granny would say, "Ain't nobody perfect but God." We should strive everyday to get there. We go through different situations to help the next person. Its just as if we are at work, when you have the experience with a project you can train and/or prepare the next person. Its very similar to everyday life. Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Are you blinging?

Showing Appreciation

Wow readers, I haven't posted in over a week. Shame on me!
Yesterday I was thinking about the people who are in my circle. So today I dedicate this post to them. I know they are reading it so I will not mention names, but they know who they are... ;-).

Just want to say THANKS for being there for me; listening to me, the words of encouragement, for letting me know that I can trust and depend on you, sitting with me on the phone for hours, talking to me while I vent my frustrations, for your prayers, for just being good friends and family. Just want you to know that I love you all and I hope I am a good of friend to you as you are to me.

Just a few special thank yous.
To the best mom in the world. Eventhough sometimes you tend to put more on me than I can deal, you are ALWAYS there for me. Whenever or whatever I need. There is nothing I wouldn't try to do for you. I want the best for you thats consistent with God's will. You are a true meaning of a mother and I hope to be 1/2 of the mother to my kids as you are to me.

Last but definitely not the least, the one and only, my hubby Mr. DJG. I always said if I had the opportunity I would tell the world how much I love, admire, and respect you. You are truly my rock. The one whom I can trust and tell my secrets, feelings, and emotions to. You are the reason I am writing this. I was thinking about all that we have been thru the nine years we have been together. I can truly say that God has blessed me with my own earthly angel. You do all you can to keep me happy and I try to do all I can to make you feel like the king you are. I love you so much can't see myself without you.

He's Not A GENIE!!!

Another for today,

I am talking to my BFF, telling her how I need to be more patient. So I know God hears me when I pray. Some request He answers and others are just in like limbo. My question is, "Why does God pick over prayer request to answer?" I can submit several prayer request at one time and some get answered in a month, six months, a year, or more. Why does He decided to choose to answer one for now and then the next for later? So my BFF answered and said, " Because He is not a genie." I agree. He is not going to be like, "Poof. there you are!" Why not? If God gives us what it is we want when we want it, how would we learn to trust Him, depend on Him, and learn to use our faith. The bible says in Hebrew 11:6; "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. God knows the right time to answer each prayer. He and only He, knows our future. He knows what we need even before we ask or think it.

Be Blessed People of God!

Appropiate Prayer

Morning Blog Readers,

I opened my email this morning and this prayer was there. I like it so I decided to share it with all of you.

Heavenly Father; I Come to you As Humble As I Know How. I Confess My
Sins, Those Known & Unknown. Lord, you Know I'm Not Perfect & I Fall
Short Every day Of My Life. I Just Want to Take Time Out to Say Thank
you. Thank you for your Mercy. Thank you for My Home, Car, Food, Life,
Everything I Do Have. I Realize That this Life I'm Living Is Full Of
Trials & Tribulations But Thank you for Not Putting More On Me Than I
Can Bear. Next Time you Get Ready to Complain, Tell The Devil you are A Blessed
Child Of God & you Have More to Be Thankful for Than to Worry About.
We Must Go Thru The Storm to Appreciate The Sunshine!

Be Blessed!!
