No Matter What...

Morning Fellow Blog Readers,

Guess what readers, no matter what we have done; we can ask God for forgiveness. I have been reading the NIV, of the old testament just for better clarification, and was wondering what in the world is wrong with the Israelites? Why did they constantly feel the need to have to worship idols. God performed so many miracles for them but they just needed someone to rule over them. It was just so mind boggling to me, still is! But anyway, what I got out of it is that no matter what we do; God will forgive us. (Unless its self-murder because then how can you repent if you are gone.) Now some people think that betrayal is the ultimate NO NO. How do you trust someone after they have betrayed you/turned their backs on you. To me it makes you look like a fool. Not saying God was a fool, because He treated it differently. Eventhough they kept jacking up; He would tell the ruler over them, at that time, He was going to destroy them. The ruler would then use "reverse psychology" on God and He would change His mind. He wouldn't destroy them, but He punished them in a less dramatic way.

So if God can constantly forgive betrayal, disobedience, and covetousness then He is powerful enough to forgive us of anything.
1 John 1:9 says, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
What more do we need. When in God we can have what we want if it is in His will. Soooooooooo, whats holding us back from giving God our all and showing and telling Him, "You are more than enough."

Loyalty

Afternoon Readers,

When you feel that you have someone in your life who will do anything for you, whatever you ask, and is always there when you need them; thats great to have. Some people don't have that type of friendship or relationship with someone. Its great to feel special and to know that you have people in your corner. I thank God for the special people in my life. Whom I can talk to about anything. They never judge me or if they feel differently than what I feel we can discuss it. They make me better and I try to return the favor.

I know this may be hard for some people to receive but keep people in your circle who have good intentions for you. You don't want people who stress you out or cause you problems. Those kind of things you don't need in your life. If we can have a faithful relationship with God, we can have one with people on earth. Matthew 25:23 says, "His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

Thanks Readers!

Stay close to the cross

Afternoon BR's,

Alot of us have heard that what we ask in God's presence will be answered. I didn't believe this was true rather I was listening and was just like ok. But I have discovered this to be true. Once we can get over ourselves and adhere to God's word, nothing is impossible. The bible says in Psalms 84:10-12, "For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee." So as we pray, let us give God praise and worship and ask Him to allow us into His presence. Matthew 7:7-8 says, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

What is it that you need? God's got it. The answer is in His presence.

Be Blessed!!

How Awesome is He?

Hey FBR,

Yesterday was "Resurrection Sunday". It was a pretty nice day. The weather was great and people were happy. I don't know if the reason was because of what the day represented or because people were just too cute..lol But in the service my hubby and I attended; we didn't have a kids program like we use to have back in the day. Instead we got a sermon depicting all that our Saviour endured on this day years ago. I have to say thinking of it makes me sad and brings tears to my eyes because I'm like how could anyone be treated in that manner. I had the urge to get up and leave the room. But I must say Jesus did it for me. Thats why I owe Him my life. What manner of man is this that gave His life for little ol' me? In the words of Kanye, "Its amazing so amazing".  What did I do to deserve that treatment. I mean God loves us so much that He endured all that pain...FOR US. Just think about it for a second; if the shoe was on the other foot, I ask could/would you have done it?

Jesus paid it all!

Whats in your control?

Morning,

Today is a special day. Its Good Friday. To many this is the day we recognize Jesus' death burial and resurrection. He endured alot for us that we may have abundant life to reign with Him forever. Let us be thankful not just today but everyday.

It seems like when I awake from sleep in the middle of the night, I can hear topics more clearly. I figure because its more quiet and God has my attention. In the middle of the night I was thinking, in any situation we have to do what is in our control and nothing else. We can not overexert ourselves on things that we cannot change. Where/what does that get us, nowhere with heartache, depression, anger, headaches. Why put ourselves through that. We must do what is in our control and trust God to do the rest. God can't solve the problem if we are in it. This is where our patience shows up not complaints. Let us prove to God that we trust him and depend on him to do what we ask and finish the task. Do what you can and get out the way!! Your way!!

Don't let anyone get on your nerves today. Brush it off and keep it moving with a smile.
Be blessed people of God!!!

Staying Focused....

Morning,

All of these blogs I posted I had to go back and read them over yesterday. I was having a weak moment yesterday, but I'm entitled. The thing is it just has to be a moment. We as children of God should not wallow in things that bother us. We can sit better yet squat but don't linger. The title of this blog is our brother's keeper, which we are. We are to encourage each other to help our brother/sister to get up and know that God is in control of their situation. Many different thoughts may come in our minds but those evil thoughts are of the devil. When someone speaks negatively to you, use your power and bind it up right then and there. Matthew 18:18 says, Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. We have to hold on to God's words and promises to us. God is not a God of deceit. If He spoke it it MUST/SHALL come to past.

Mountains

Evening,

Sometimes when things are going your way and something comes along; it doesn't mean that God has forgotten you. Its just another test that we have to pass. We can not let the devil enter in in anyway. We must stay focused on God and his promises to us. For the word says He will never leave us nor forsake us. If God said it we must believe and continue to believe. We can't let anything rattle our cage. Stay strong and keep the faith. Remmber the blessing is almost there.

Be blessed, people of God.

So today I attended a family member's funeral. I saw many family members that I hadn't seen in years. It was almost like a reunion.

We Have Power!!

Afternoon Readers,

When we decided to accept Jesus; we were giving many things. Each of us something different and the same. One of the gifts we were given equally was POWER!!! Power to overcome many obstacles and even the enemy. If the enemy pursues us and we know its him; lets not be afraid. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. We have power over the enemy. If we speak to the enemy it must/shall obey. If someone wants to allow the enemy to use them; we must not retaliate. We must be strong and bold knowing that we have power to overcome anything the enemy has planned for us. There is a King in us!!!

Who holds your future?

Afternoon Readers,

When we need to make decisions for our future; we should consult God. Talk to Him and explain to Him in detail what it is you want to happen. He is the only one who knows what lies ahead for us. So why not involve Him in our future decisions. One of the benefits of being one of Gods is we don't have to worry about our future. We can bring it to Him and let him deal with it. Once we give it to Him we may not get the answer we were looking for, but know that whatever the decision is its a prelude for another decision to come. He has our back and knows whats best. Trust Him to handle all your decisions. For the God we serve is incapable of failing. Jeremiah 29:11 says; For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
