Hey FBR,
Yesterday was "Resurrection Sunday". It was a pretty nice day. The weather was great and people were happy. I don't know if the reason was because of what the day represented or because people were just too cute..lol But in the service my hubby and I attended; we didn't have a kids program like we use to have back in the day. Instead we got a sermon depicting all that our Saviour endured on this day years ago. I have to say thinking of it makes me sad and brings tears to my eyes because I'm like how could anyone be treated in that manner. I had the urge to get up and leave the room. But I must say Jesus did it for me. Thats why I owe Him my life. What manner of man is this that gave His life for little ol' me? In the words of Kanye, "Its amazing so amazing". What did I do to deserve that treatment. I mean God loves us so much that He endured all that pain...FOR US. Just think about it for a second; if the shoe was on the other foot, I ask could/would you have done it?

He is AWESOME!! Because we know if any one of us had that mission, to die nailed to the cross for some people who don't care about you, who persecute you, you want you dead! You KNOW we would have backed out, like "Father, I hear what you saying, but uhhhh, I'll pass!" He died for people who loved him and the ones that didn't.. That's how awesome his love is for us! Even in our mess he loves us! We had a great service as well!
